Welcome to Duck Motel!

I'm super excited to welcome everyone to the brand new Duck Motel! We are a completely free-to-play Habbo "retro" service focused on the earlier versions of Habbo Hotel (specifically v14/15) from the early 2000s. Duck Motel features a native client application very similar to Habbo Origins.

Please be sure to create an account by downloading the Duck Motel Client - all new users receive 600 Credits for signing up and we also distribute 500 Credits to all players every week (sometimes more)! We'll also be hosting events and giveaways on a regular basis to ensure that we can keep the Credits and rares flowing.

What is Duck Motel?
Duck Motel is a free-to-play, old school Habbo server based on Habbo v14 from the early 2000's. Duck Motel is completely free to play, and all players receive 600 Credits after joining and 500 more free Credits every week (sometimes more!).
How do I play Duck Motel?
After downloading the Duck Motel client you will have the option to create a new account or log in to an existing account. You can download the client installer by clicking here (Windows PC required).
Is Duck Motel free? How do I buy Credits?
Duck Motel is completely free to play, and we do not sell Credits. Players automatically recieve 500 Credits after registering an account and 350 free Credits every week, in addition to free Credits and items which are given away daily by the Duck Motel Staff during events and just because.
Is the Duck Motel Client safe for my PC?
The Duck Motel Client is completely safe for your computer, and only requires an executable file due to the fact that Flash is no longer supported in any stock web browser. The Client is a small Macromedia Shockwave file which allows the old v14-era Habbo client to load on your computer, and is the same exact method which powers the official Habbo Origins client. How do I get rare furniture?
A new set of rare furniture (sometimes matching sets and other times random) are rotated in the in-game Catalog every Friday. Additionally, a new Mega Rare item is rotated in the Catalog on a regular basis, however it is not disclosed how long each Mega Rare will remain in the Catalog.
Does Duck Motel have moderators?
We believe in the freedom of speech and expression so long as it doesn't cause harm to another individual. With that said, Duck Motel does have a team of Moderators and Staff who regularly monitor interactions within Duck Motel for illegal or otherwise harmful speech.

Our Moderation team is often not visible directly in-game, and players should utilize the Call For Help feature to request immediate moderation assistance. With that said, use of Duck Motel is at your own risk, and Duck Motel Staff cannot be held responsible for any content posted by users of the service.
